Today, I can proudly present yet another great interview (I’m really having a blast doing these)! Mark Lyford shares his dramatic “rise-and-fall” story and tells us what he did to go from zero to generating about $5000 per month with his online business in a matter of just a few months. And as you’ll see, he’s not stopping anytime soon!
Check out the audio below and further down, I’ve listed and described all of the relevant links to sites we talk about during the interview. Enjoy!
As you may already know, I personally like to use WordPress for building all kinds of marketing sites. From blog-style sites to squeeze-pages or sales-pages, with the right themes and plugins, WP can be the ideal platform for any kind of website.
In today’s review, I take a look at a new plugin called WP Split Test and as the name implies, this tool helps you set up and track split tests on your WordPress websites.
Split-testing, sometimes also called A/B testing, is the process of testing two or more variations of a webpage against each other in order to determine which one performs better. The goal of split testing is simply to find out how to structure your page so that you can get more clicks, more conversions, more sign-ups or whatever else may be the purpose of the site.
Market research is usually concerned with the demographics of a market, the amount and kind of competition you can expect, evaluation of what type of content and delivery the target demographic responds to etc.
For this article, I want to take the market research down a notch and present you a very simple, very basic research “method” that you should be applying on a regular basis as an online marketer. Especially if you are new to this game.
A few days ago, I published my written Best Spinner review. As usual, I like to follow up with a video-review, since my written reviews tend to go into a lot of detail and are quite extensive. So, if you’re looking for a quick demonstration of the Best Spinner article spinning software as well as my thoughts about it, check out the video below.
As always, comments and questions are very welcome!
(According to the FTC, I need to state that the above banner contains an affiliate link… because I’m sure all the Internet marketers reading this couldn’t have figured that out themselves.)
I’ve already produced a fair amount of content concerning article spinning and I’ve often said that (spinning-) bots are stupid and that I’m no fan of auto-rewritten content. In light of this, it’s only fair that I give the big new player in the article spinning scene a fair review.
Can the Best Spinner live up to it’s name or is it another piece of junkware you should steer clear of? Read on to find out.
This is the first entry in a series of posts I’ll be doing about sales psychology. This won’t be a series of consecutive posts but rather a subject that I’ll post about from time to time. In the series, you’ll learn about specific techniques that can be used to increase sales and conversions. Once you’ve read about them, you’ll soon recognize them in many advertising campaigns online and off.
To start off, I want to introduce an easily exploitable psychological bias called the commitment bias.
A few days ago, Darren Rowse (Pro Blogger), Chris Brogan (Trust Agents), Sonia Simone and Brian Clark (both Copyblogger) launched a new membership site called “The Third Tribe”. You’ve probably heard of it, since it made something of a splash.
This post is not another Third Tribe rant. Others have already done that better than I ever could. If you take just one thing from this post, let it be this: Go to Griz’s Third Tribe review and read it. It makes a more than excellent case and is very much worth reading.
If you take another thing from this post, then it’s a clearer and less biased overview of Internet marketing “tribes” that follows below:
WordPress Websites Made Easy is the first free downloadable report made available on RichQuickReview. This is a very easy-to-follow guide on how to build your first website, completely from scratch, even if you’ve never done something like this before and can’t code (hint: neither can I).
Check out this page for more details and the download link!
Obviously, I’m very excited to finally publish this guide and I’d love to get some feedback from you!
Well, by now it’s clear that LLF won’t be a weekly feature. I simply don’t find enough “worthy” posts and/or don’t spend enough time browsing the online marketing related Interwebs, to come up with enough material.
Be that as it may, I will still gather useful posts and resources and post them up on a Friday once I’ve found several.
