Marketing vs. Authenticity

Marketing vs. Authenticity

In today’s post, I want to share a video with you and I hope that you’ll share your thoughts with me after you’ve seen it. You see, this is very much a work in progress. It’s probably one of the least planned and least professionally made videos I’ve ever published, but the subject is one that’s very important to me and about wich I just needed to share some thoughts.

What it really comes down to is that I’m working on finding a way to bring good, solid marketing skills and authenticity, honesty and integrity together in my marketing messages.  Watch the video below to see exactly what I’m on about:

Internet Marketing Forum Worth Checking Out

Quite a long time ago, I did two posts comparing lots of Internet marketing forums and I wrote about how they stacked up in terms of stats as well as what kind of a “personality each forum has.

Just recently, I came across a forum that I hadn’t known about yet, when I wrote those articles. The forum I’m talking about has the catchy name: Honest Work From Home Success (and I thought I was bad at coming up with short, memorable names…).

I’ve had a good look around the forum, which is UK based (as far as anything can be nationalized on the internet). All in all, it’s a very pleasant community and it has quite a high level of activity, which I think is important in a forum.

And that’s about all there is to say, because instead of reading my thoughts about it, you should just hop over and take a peek yourself. Let me know what you think.

Question of the day: What’s your favourite online marketing forum?

Let me know in the comments!

Cheers,

Guru Popcorn, Episode 3: Perpetual Traffic Formula

Guru Popcorn, Episode 3: Perpetual Traffic Formula

Wow. Just wow.

That was my first reaction to Perpetual Traffic Formula, or rather the free report, which you can get here and which is the first part of a launch sequence for Ryan Deiss’ next product.

The landing page is really slick and awesome looking and the report itself has great production quality as well. As for the content? Marketing at it’s best.

Read on to see the genius way in which this system is positioned as something new and different in what may well be the most saturated market ever… (video after the break)

WP Syndicator Review

WP Syndicator Review

WP Syndicator is a WordPress plugin which, you guessed it, syndicates your content. What does that mean, in practice? The plugin takes an excerpt of a new post, adds a “read more” link and publishes that on several free blogging platforms like Blogger.com and tumblr.com. It also sends tweets to twitter and other micro-blogging platforms. The end-effect of this is that you can instantly build a bunch of backlinks to each new post you create and also get some decent click-through traffic (depending on how active and involved you are on twitter and the other micro-blogging services). This review features two videos detailing the plugin and one heck of a good reason why you should get it.

1 In a Million Ecovers

1 In a Million Ecovers

Welcome to this review and report on 1 In a Million Ecovers. This is going to be slightly different than my usual reviews and you’ll see why in just a minute.

1 In a Million Ecovers is a collection of Photoshop action scripts that help you create all sorts of e-cover graphics for spicing up your landing pages and making product offers more enticing.  In today’s article, I’ve added two videos: The first one shows off how the action scripts work and the second one is about what kind of an effect adding a cover image has on conversion rates.

Free Line Concepts: Pagan vs. Belcher/Deiss

Free Line Concepts: Pagan vs. Belcher/Deiss

I already wrote about the meaning (and importance) of the so-called Free Line – the line that separates the stuff you give away for free from the stuff you charge for. In recent research, I’ve come across two different concepts, that both work effectively, but treat the free line very differently.

This post is about those two methods and how you can implement them in your own marketing.
